Welcome to Deb Westergaard Photography! I am a professional photographer based in the Northern California area. While it is my policy for every client to own their images after their session, the reproduction of images for sale or profit is strictly prohibited.

About Me: I have been photographing professionally since January of 2001. I started photographing in 1989 as the historian for the California Aggie Marching Band at UC Davis. In the early 1990's, I shot for the UCD Sports Department and the City of Davis, and worked for local photographer John Palmer in Sacramento. At Palmer Photographic I mastered black & white RC and fiberbased printing, hand tinting and PhotoCD scanning. Over the next 8 years I was on the leading edge of high-end digital imaging, working on motion picture, post–production, visual effects at Lucas Digital's Industrial Light and Magic and DreamWorks' Pacific Data Images.
